Artist's Comments
Okay so I lied when I said I wouldn't be making fractals for a while. It's hard to stop doing something you love.
Program used: Ultra Fractal 3.04 Zazzle: [ Print / Poster ] [ C82.net ] Update 5-1-05: I'd like to thank lolly for choosing this as a Daily Deviation. It was totally unexpected especially after submitting it over two years ago! I'm pleased you all enjoy it so much and I thank you for all the wonderful things you've said. Daily DeviationGiven 2005-05-01Rarely does an artist create a fractal work that evokes such a sense of depth and texture that it leaves you thinking it may be a photograph from some alien world or undiscovered part of Earth. But that just makes the title Evolution - all the more apt. Nicholas Rougeux consistently raises the bar in this genre. (Featured by lolly) Commentsnice work !

-- "Communism may be messy, but it sure is tasty." -- dA Prints: [link] very awesome..and as usual, the title fits it nicely.. it's like the tree of life, branching off and diversifiying... wonderful colors too.. I really like the bright lines/gridwork. nice job! I had a feeling you wouldn't stop doing fractals forever.
